Fantastic and cool-looking items. A couple of questions: 1) do the tubes get excessively warm/hot? 2) I've seen that the tubes can last from 12 years to 200,000 hours (nearly 23 years) - which is it closer to? 3) are the tubes easily replaceable and are they even obtainable? Thanks!

Hello Mike!
Thank you for such interesting questions and feedback!
1) do the tubes get excessively warm/hot? - nope, absolutely not!
2) I've seen that the tubes can last from 12 years to 200,000 hours (nearly 23 years) - which is it closer to? - in average, all 6 tubes will last for 12 years (for this we give guarantee and 1 spare tube). After that some may start blinking and may "die". But some may still work 23+year.
3) are the tubes easily replaceable and are they even obtainable? - yes, they are replaceable and obtainable.
Regards
David

Hello i am in the UK and wondered if could sip here. Also I have tried searching for you on ebay but with no luck are you selling on ebay.co.uk or just ebay.com? I would really like to buy one as a present, so if you could let me know if you can send to the uk that would be great. Best wishes
Admin Reply by: admin
Hello Rachel,
I guess my partner has already answered you on etsy.com, right?
As for the ebay - yes, no problem, we can post the lot there too. You won't find active lots because we work only by pre-order (no payment needed). Once the lot is ready we post it on etsy.com/ebay.com where the customer may buy it.
Kind regards
David

Love it! I am wondering if we can use different alphabets within the Nixie tubes? Specifically Tibetan. What company actually creates the tubes? Could we have tubes with emojis or any other symbols?
Admin Reply by: admin
Thank you! Nixie tubes are taken out of production since 1990. There are some types of tubes with the other symbols, but, as far as I know there's no tubes with the Tibetan alphabet.

I have sent two emails earlier via your site but don’t think you have received them due to my computer error. So, this is coming directly via my personal email site.
We would like to purchase ASAP a Nixie clock as seen below copied from your site. If you have to make this unit please advise us of what you have in inventory. We are needing it by May 27 shipped to Covington, LA 70433 USA so might change to one in your built inventory.
Thanks,
Steve Gilson

love to know if you make a clock that shows years months days hours minutes and seconds. If so how much for a clock that i can start as soon as my child is born in Australian Dollars.
Admin Reply by: admin
Hello William,
Wow! Congratulations! Your idea sounds amazing!
All our clocks show the current year, month, day, hour, minutes, and seconds.
The clock costs around 500 AUD + 100 AUD shipping (we ship to AU only with EMS post service, that is more expensive, but more reliable).
Also, I must say, that the nearest possible clock will be made on around the 30th of May + 2 weeks shipping.
Please let me know if the date suits you.
Kind regards
David

Hello again,
I'm sorry as I did only email yesterday and know that you are extremely busy , but was just wanting to know the $AU for the purchase of your new wooden/ brass SteamPunk clock ?
I would love to purchase the exact same as that pictured on your recent site as your 2019 design. It would make the perfect gift for a close friend's 50th birthday but need to know ASAP if it is possible to order soon and the cost please .
If you could perhaps just confirm the receipt of this email so I can let the other people putting in for the gift know ,that they can stop looking for anything else.
The time frame for making and delivery is not an issue , would just like to know we can place an order.
With much appreciation and thanks,
Maria

Hello Maria,
Thank you for your interest.
Frankly speaking, I didn't receive an email from you, though, I answered your comment, and will also post an answer here. The price for SteamPunk clock is mentioned in USD.
As for the soon order, unfortunately, it's not possible. Nowadays we improve all our tools, upgrade our technique, etc, so we won't be able to take orders until the 10th of April.
Wish you best of luck to find the perfect present for your friend!
Regards
David

Hi!
Thank you for your interest. It's quite possible to make the logo (BTW I love to play Fallout too!). Though, we are quite busy these days, and won't be able to take orders up to April 2019. The clock crafting will take 3 weeks, after the order was taken.
Please let me know if you have the time to wait.
Have a great day!
