Cheap nixie tube clock 2020
I usually get letters with the request to make cheap nixie tube clocks. So I worked on new design for the clock, that takes much less time and materials. It helped me to set a lower price for my wooden nixie clocks.
This design is quite plain, but it perfectly fits Scandinavian style interior! This clock goes just for $200 per item! It includes 1 nix tube clock with In-12 tubes, 1 spare tube, 12 months guarantee. You can easily set 12-24 hours regime, and unset it any time.
Nowadays I am working on even cheaper item, and I hope I will show it to you very soon! To order clocks, please email me or contact me here.

I’d like to order one. How soon it’ll come to the US?
hank you! Contacted you via email with details. It will be shipped within 2 weeks.
It is a good price, but I am waiting for something up to $150.
Will post soon a new design, almost like this one! It’ll cost $150
While I do love the look of this clock, I recently bought a nixie clock (kit) with four IN-12 tubes for just shy of $100. The case is machined aluminum (not the style you go for, but it’s still quite nice), and I’m pretty sure it has more settings (Night mode, 12/24h, LED backlight brightness, Colon Bulb flash/indicate/off, CPP cycle)
That said, I do love the look of your 6-digit IN-12 design (especially in red), and I do believe it’s worth the money for the craftsmanship you put in.
My only question is this: Are the tubes Direct Driven, or Multiplexed?
Hello, Aech.
Thank you for your comment.
Due to my poor English, I am not sure that I understood your answer correctly. Do you mean if the tubes are replaceable? If so, then yes, they are replaceable.
Have a nice day!
Hello. What colors are available? I’m interested in taking one in red color. Thanks. Kim.

It’s a masterpiese! How can I order the light one?
Thank you!
I’ve sent you a letter with the details. It usually takes ~ 2 weeks to make this cheap nixie clock. Especially in the light color.
Cheers
David.
Very beautiful nixie tube clock. Bought it in the light color.
Thank you for your feedback!
Such an easy and great design! Want to buy one!
Hi. Thank you. Sent you a letter with the instructions on how to proceed with the order.
[…] Cheap nixie tube clock 2019 – Nixie Tube Clocks […]
Am thinking ahead to Christmas for one as a present, and have some questions:
– How long do the tubes on this model last, and can they be readily replaced?
– Are you able to make one that works with an Australian power plug? (I can supply specifications, and just want to avoid having an international power plug adaptor, due to space probelms in my bedroom. Yes, it’s that bad!)
When would I need to place an order for me to receive this in time for Christmas?
What would international shipping cost to Melbourne Australia?
Hello. Thank you for your questions:
– The tubes work for 12+ years (though, in practice, they work over 40 years without problems)
– Unfortunately we do not have the AU plugs nowadays, though, you may buy a plug from the EU/US to AU plag in any supermarket in Australia. OR we may order AU plugs, and craft the clock with AU plug. But it’ll take some extra time.
– To get your clock before the Christmas it’s better to place an order not later then in late August-early September.
– International shipping to Australia costs 70USD, because we ship to AU only via EMS post service. It is a little bit more expensive, though, it is more reliable and faster (usually takes 2 weeks to be delivered).
Are the IN-12 tubes mercury doped? If not can the Cheap clocks be supplied with the IN-14 tubes? I would willingly pay the extra cost
No mercury in tubes. Unfortunately Cheap clock can’t be supplied with In-14 tubes, because the shape of the tube won’t match the model. Can you send me the picture, or the drawing of your idea so that I could think of it?
